Companies
Companies are the organisations behind your contacts — lessors, traders, airlines, MROs, and brokers. FlareForge classifies each company by type so you can filter and segment your network.

| Airline | Commercial or cargo carrier |

| Other | Any other organisation type |

Adding a company
Click New company from the Companies page. Name and type are required. Contacts and deals can be linked at creation or added later.
Linking contacts to companies
From a contact record, use the Company field to associate the contact with a company. A contact can only be associated with one company at a time. If a contact changes employer, update the company association — the interaction history stays with the contact, not the company.
Filtering by company type
The Companies list has a type filter at the top. This is useful for segmenting outreach — e.g. "show me all lessors" before a conference call blitz.
Company activity
Each company record shows a summary of active deals where that company is the counterparty, and a list of all contacts associated. This gives you a quick overview of your relationship with an organisation before a call.
