Follow-up queue
The Follow-up Queue (/follow-up) is your daily relationship maintenance tool. It shows every contact with Amber or Red health, sorted by urgency (longest since last contact first), so you can work through the list in order and log each interaction as you go.
How the queue is built
The queue pulls all contacts across your organisation where health is Amber or Red:
- Red contacts (30+ days no contact) appear first.
- Amber contacts (14–30 days no contact) appear below.
- Within each group, contacts are sorted by last interaction date — the person you have ignored longest is at the top.
The queue does not include Green contacts. If everyone in your network is Green, the queue is empty — that is the goal.
Working the queue
For each contact in the queue:
- Review the contact name, role, company, and last interaction date.
- Click Log call (or email / meeting from the type dropdown) to record that you reached out.
- Add brief notes — what was discussed, any follow-up actions.
- The contact moves out of the queue immediately once the interaction is logged.
Work top to bottom. Aim to clear all Red contacts before moving to Amber.
Integration with the dashboard
The Needs Attention section in the dashboard sidebar is a condensed version of the follow-up queue — it shows the top 3–5 most urgent contacts. The full queue is always accessible from the Follow-up item in the navigation.
Mobile layout
The follow-up queue is optimised for mobile use — each contact is a full-width card with a prominent Log call button. You can work through the queue on your phone during a commute or between meetings.
Interaction types
When logging from the queue, select the interaction type:
| Type | Use for |
|---|---|
| Call | Phone or video call |
| Email exchange | |
| Meeting | In-person or formal virtual meeting |
| Informal message or voice note | |
| Other | Any other contact |
All types reset the health score to Green and update the last-contact date.
