Contacts
Contacts is your record of every individual you work with or plan to work with in aviation.
Contact fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Full name |
| Role / title | e.g. VP Commercial, Head of Trading, Asset Manager |
| Company | Association with a company record |
| Primary email address | |
| Phone | Direct line |
| Notes | Free-form notes — background, relationship history, preferences |
| Health | Automated: Green / Amber / Red |
| Last interaction | Auto-populated from the most recent logged interaction |
Adding a contact
Click New contact from the Contacts page. At minimum provide a name. The health score starts at Green and degrades automatically as time passes without a logged interaction.
If you import contacts from a CSV, you can include a "Last contact date" column to seed the initial health score rather than starting everyone at Green.
Logging interactions
An interaction is any meaningful contact — a call, email, meeting, or WhatsApp. To log one:
- Open the contact record.
- Click Log interaction.
- Select the type (Call, Email, Meeting, Other).
- Set the date (defaults to today).
- Add notes — what was discussed, any commitments made.
- Optionally link to a deal.
Logging an interaction:
- Resets the contact's health score to Green immediately.
- Appears in the interaction history on any linked deals.
- Updates the "Last contact" field in the contact list.
Searching contacts
The contact list has a live search bar that filters by name, company, or role as you type. You can also filter by health status using the colour-coded filter buttons at the top of the list.
Contact health in the dashboard
Contacts with Amber or Red health appear in the Needs Attention section of the dashboard right sidebar. The most urgent contacts (longest without contact) appear first.
